“We were
originally from NJ and had met Ben through his website. Ben found
several houses for us to see, so we made a trip to Atlanta to meet
with him.
After a couple of days of house hunting, we found the perfect one. Ben made an offer
that was accepted and we were very happy, looking forward to buying
our first home. As the day of closing arrived, we packed and headed
south.
At the 11th hour, the lender, that my husband and I chose, decided not to approve us
for 100% of the loan and that we would have to come up with a
substantial amount of money (that we didn’t have) to close the loan.
As you might guess, I was in a panic; my whole life was packed in a
U-Haul with nowhere to go. I was ready to throw in the towel.
Ben remained calm.
He found us a hotel near the house that took pets. He also referred
